Here I am again, it's time to update my blog, but I really don't know what to say, since I'm sure no-one is reading this.

We are expecting baby #3...a girl! I have had mixed feeling about this pregnancy, even though it was planned. The books all say that it's normal to have some mixed emotions, but that's little consolation! Our boys will be 8 and 5 when baby sister arrives. I'm out of the baby stage and am a little reluctant to re-enter! I was nervous with my first, but that was because I didn't know what I was getting into! Now I know what to expect and that makes the nerves even worse!...diapers, feedings, burping, insomnia, all the stuff (swings, cribs, strollers, car seats, clothes, blankets, pacifiers, toys, monitors, shall I go on...), and the hazy half conscious state of existence for the next 2 years! Am I over-reacting? Not to mention the process of bringing baby into the world makes me shudder...OUCH! Then there's the leaking from every possible opening in your body (you know what I mean...)

I am sounding a little negative aren't I....I know it's all worth it to have these miraculous blessings in our life. I do feel extremely blessed, and not to mention humbled, that I have the opportunity to be a mother. I also know that to experience these types of incredible blessings, we have to be tested. My test right now is just to put my head on straight and not worry so much about it all. Focus instead on the joy that my children bring to my life, and how much more joy we will experience in our home with the addition of a baby girl.

I know Marshall is ecstatic! He prayed aloud on several occasions for a baby sister...that was three years ago! I guess his prayers have been answered! What a faith building experience for him! For Marshall to feel that his Heavenly Father heard him and answered his prayers...not a quickly as he would have liked, but answered none the less!

Over due update!

A sunny day and the Hogle Zoo!

So we have moved to Provo, Utah after briefly living with Jenelle (little sis). We are loving our new place. Jeff has headed back to school seeking his doctorate in pharmacy and an MBA. Life is crazy, but no more than usual. I have been working for Grant's (big bro) wedding design business for the last year as a production assistant. They have asked me to be a bridal consultant as well so now I will be meeting with the brides and helping them design their wedding event! It's going to be exciting! Here is a link to the website... http://www.designeliteweddings.com/ and also http://gallery.me.com/designeliteweddings. If you know of anyone who needs event planning and decorations, send them my way! I have also created a blog to help me sell some of the items that Rosanne and Brit (aunt and uncle) have collected over time from the Philippines and other places. Check it out at www.eclecticgifts.blogspot.com . Marshall and Morgan are doing awesome! Marshall is liking school a little better, and Morgan just wants to go to school sooo bad! He will start preschool as soon as there is an opening. Kids just don't stop growing!

Daily Life

Well, we are finally potty training Morgan (MoJo). So my world right now is all about big boy unders, pee-pee and poo-poo and wiping, flushing and all the other glorious terms and chores that go along with potty training! Morgan got his cast off a week or so ago, so now he just has a brace that he had so wear for another couple of weeks. He doctor said his x-rays looked good but that he didn't trust MoJo not to be a crazy man, so in the brace he went!

Meanwhile, I have started walking/jogging every day...except today of course, since I'm sitting here on the computer and it's raining outside! My muscles are sore and my legs are cramping, but it feels so good! I hope to complete the Nike Women's half marathon at the end of October. It's coming up soon, so I had better kick it in gear if I want to survive! I was suckered into coaching for marshall's soccer team, so I've been busy with that, and I'm also in charge of the Activity Days for our primary. Busy busy busy! (but no PTO this year:) yeah!)

Jeff is wanting to train for another triathalon! He's crazy but he loves it and it makes him happy! We decided to close his office in Ontario, Oregon. No since paying for an office when he can work just as easily from home.

Marshall is in 1st grade and is doing really well. That kid is smarter that he lets on! All the sudden, he's reading and I thought he was still struggling with his letters! Go Mrs. Bain! Marshall has come a long way with his soccer skills since last year when all he did was spin in circles around the field! He is much more focused and aggressive this year. He is also the biggest kid on the team! I think he might turn out to be one of the best kids on the team this year (his coaches mad coaching skills aside of course!). Oh, he also wanted me to note that he and Dad defeated Cynder the Dragon on the Spyro game that he got for Christmas last year...noted!

So those are the adventures we are all on! I love our little family! We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!

Boys

Baby boys come in all shapes and sizes,

Shy and adventurous,

Full of surprises,

With misshapen halos

and mischievous grins,

Small, grubby faces

and sweet, sticky chins.

They'll keep you so busy,

and yet all the while,

Nothing can brighten the world

like their smile!
